Every year the whole province is shaken up by the Sneekweek, a water sports event so well known that it has even been made into a film.

We live in Loosdrecht but don't have a boat of our own, so we rent a sloop in Loosdrecht. If we rent a boat on Loosdrecht 10 times a year, it is still cheaper than buying a boat ourselves. This is due to the demurrage, maintenance and costs for winter storage. Moreover, afterwards you return the boat and it is ready! So no more covering with a cover or cleaning. Renting on Havendienst.nl is always the cheapest!
