Every year the whole province is shaken up by the Sneekweek, a water sports event so well known that it has even been made into a film.

If we rent a boat on Loosdrecht 10 times a year, it is still cheaper than buying a boat ourselves. This is due to the demurrage, maintenance and costs for winter storage.
